Dr. Allison Rascon is a native of Miami, Florida, and is fluent in both english and spanish. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida, she then went on to receive her DDS from New York University, where she graduated with honors in Periodontics and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Rascon then received her Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, she is board-eligible by the American Academy of Periodontology. While in residency, she sat on the Board of Governors for the Philadelphia County Dental Society and served as a Delegate for the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Aside from her active participation in organized dentistry, she is also passionate about her research in periodontal and peri-implant regeneration. Dr. Rascon was a two-time recipient of the George J. Coslet Memorial Scholarship for being the top resident in the University of Pennsylvania Periodontics program. During her residency, she was awarded the Best Oral Clinical Presentation Award at the Academy of Osseointegration Annual Meeting in 2022 and was the recipient of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Tannenbaum/ Schoor Case Competition Award. Dr. Rascon has presented nationally and internationally, and has published literature pertaining to her passion for regenerative medicine.

Dr Stuart J Froum Is an Adjunct Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Research Department in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University of College of Dentistry. He was president of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and also president of The Northeast Periodontal Society ,(NESP). Dr Froum was awarded the Master Clinician Award by the AAP and was elected to the International College of Dentists ( the premier society in the world for expert dentists ). He is editor of one of the most sought out and read text book entitled ” Dental Implant Complications, Etiology , Prevention and Treatment” , Volumes I and II , which has been translated to 14 languages and is in every dental school around the world. Dr Froum has contributed chapters to 5 textbooks, and has written over 200 peer reviewed articles in dentals journals. He is a reviewer himself in 2 prestigious dental journal.
Dr. David Weinstein has specialized in Periodontics and the placement of dental implants for over 20 years. He received his doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He was then awarded a certificate to specialize in the practice of Periodontics from Columbia University. In addition, he is a former Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Implant Dentistry at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, where he supervised and instructed the graduate students on Bone Augmentation and Dental Implant Surgery.
Dr. Weinstein lectures both locally and nationally on topics related to both periodontics and dental implants. His quarterly newsletter contains up-to-date news and information regarding periodontics and dental implants.
He is a concerned and caring periodontist who loves his work, and whose patients say they enjoy pain-free treatment. His philosophy of practice includes non-surgical as well as surgical regimens.

Hana Froum obtained her B.S. from the University of Ma. Amherst in 2000, majoring in psychology, with an emphasis in early childhood development. She completed four years of the dental hygiene program at both New York University College of Dentistry and Hudson Valley Community College, where she received her dental hygiene degree. She has received advanced training and certification to administer local anesthetics, nitrous oxide sedation and to recommended dental hygiene medications, nutritional supplements, and nutrition counseling.
To add, she completed numerous courses, training and certification in advanced dental technologies, including the most up to date tooth whitening techniques and materials. She is an exceptional patient educator and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of their oral health. She has been practicing with Dr. Stuart J Froum for seven years examining, diagnosing and maintaining periodontal and implant dental health in her patients.
Alice Chung obtained her B.S., in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Columbia University. She later attended New York University College of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She has been practicing for more than 20 years with Dr. Stuart J Froum.
Her gentle demeanor and thoroughness along with caring for each patient allows her to provide the best care possible. She is also very well regarded by all her patients and dental colleagues for her dental and patient management skills. She is an excellent diagnostician who can identify and treat periodontal as well as implant diseases at early onset thus avoiding more complicated, painful and expensive treatments.
There are few dentists as respected as Dr. Chung by patients, dentists and dental specialists. She is well regarded by her patients for her thoroughness. Rather than being rushed, you know that she is there to serve your needs.
Dr. Clifford Melnick has been practicing Periodontics and Implant Dentistry for over 35 years. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1982, he completed his Residency training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. He then received his post graduate training in Periodontology at Columbia University in 1985. Dr. Melnick opened his practice Limited to Periodontics in 1986, at which point he also began teaching the residents at Mount Sinai Hospital and was ultimately appointed Assistant Clinical Professor at the hospital. He supervised the residents in clinical procedures and lectured at the hospital.
Dr. Melnick is a very concerned clinician with high ethical standards and skill. He is constantly taking continuing education courses to hone in on his craft and stay on the leading edge in the field of Periodontics and Implant surgery. He is a LANAP trained clinician; this is an FDA cleared non-surgical laser treatment for moderate to advanced periodontal disease. The outcomes of this advanced treatment modality have been extremely positive and the patients are very pleased with the minimal discomfort during and/or after this treatment. He also uses the latest techniques in implant treatment planning and surgery as well as soft tissue grafting. When Dr. Melnick is not working, his hobbies include golf, reading, working out and traveling.
Dr. Melnick and his staff pride themselves in the extra attention they give their patients. They really enjoy what they do and feel it shows in the quality of service and friendly atmosphere that patients receive as soon as they walk through the door.
